Hello Dear Fans!

Doctor Kauff is looking for his wife! You surely remember him mentioning Mildred a few times during the show… if not, here’s a little info on her:

- She is very sweet

- Kauff and Mildred have been married for over 40 years, so she pretty much got used to her husband’s eccentric behavior

- They love each other very much but, as any old couple, they have their ups and downs when various subjects come into discussion (such as buying a new lamp shade… or what color should we paint the living room)

We are now holding auditions for Mildred. If you are at least over 21 years old and you have a decent camera (even a decent webcam or photo-camera-that-records-video is okay), please get in your best old-lady outfit (gray hair/wig is a bonus) and record yourself saying the next lines:

“Oh, greetings dearies… I am Mildred, Kauff’s wife. You know Kauff, that funny old man, hehe… well, he wasn’t so funny this morning when he forgot to fix our TV Set. I’m missing my favorite show: Daredevil Detectives from Dermany. I love reading detective stories and watching these shows… keeps the mind focused, you know! Oh dear, oh my, but where could my husband be at this hour? He was supposed to finish answering questions and come home… I do hope he’s alright. I made brownies… he wouldn’t wanna miss that, I tell you! (the phone starts to ring… she looks at the phone, then back at the audience…as if she knows something happened!)”

You can play around with the text and the general idea, but don’t stray too much from the context. We also need it in one big take.

Be sure to have good lighting and do your best to make the sound clear (no echoes or shooting in unfurnished rooms).

After you finish the recording, upload it to your youtube channel and send us the link to silverwolfpet [at) yahoo (dot] com. Be sure to add “Hello, I’m Mildred” as the e-mail subject, so we know it’s for the casting.

The winner will become part of the Ask a Monkeyologist cast for Season 3, and also the Game.

We have a general idea on how Mildred looks like (link to picture) or something similar (second link), but if you’re feeling creative, we’d love to see what you can come up with.

All we ask is that you think this thoroughly… it’s not a job, you will be playing this part for free, for the fans. Our schedule is VERY loose, easy to adapt to, but it still is a schedule. We’re talking about one day every three weeks dedicated to the show (make up, costume, many many lines).

Oh and, no offense, but you have to be a GIRL to enter. We already have too many guys on the show and we need that special feminine touch.
