Top Ten Roles I’d LOVE to Play – Mihai Edition

Mihai, top ten, all you need to know.

Well, that and what the top ten is about. Today we have a list inspired by my bro’s suggestion. Here are some of the roles I’d love to play. Hope you enjoy.

  • 10 W10 – Wise old elf

I don’t know if this will sound strange or pretentious but, honestly, I sometimes feel “old”, not necessarily on a physical level. It would be fun trying to act as an elder in a fantasy world.

“Saber, the elder-elf, who has seen the sun set and rise a thousand times, has counted all the stars and has spoken with the spirits as kin.”

  • 9 J 29 – A villain

This would be a very demanding role for an introvert like myself. It might sound weird, seeing how I play Johnny, but in real life I am very calm and zen-ish.

I am thrilled by the idea of expressing darker sides of characters or stepping into the shoes of an antagonist. A role I especially wanted to try at one point was The Joker. This anarchist with a twisted sense of humor would be the most explosive role I’ve ever played.

  • 8 J8 – Jedi

You get a cool robe, a cool lightsaber, the Force to push and pull stuff, bend the minds of the weak and you get to say “May the Force be with you” without sounding like you’re making a pass at someone. The only thing missing is a salary and it would be the coolest thing ever. :p

But seriously though, I would like to be a Jedi for all the awesome stunts I could do.

  • 7 S7 – A silent protagonist

I had often heard that silence could convey the strongest message. Mimes are a lame example.

To be a silent protagonist would be a brilliant chance for me to strengthen my body language and facial expressions. Also, it would be a challenge for any actor to convey emotion through movement.

  • 6 J6 – Joey Mallone

I had the wonderful chance to actually play the role of Joey in our recent Movie Trailer for the Blackwell series. Although we don’t actually plan on filming anything else in regards to the games, I wouldn’t pass the chance to put on the fedora again.

If someone held a casting for a real Blackwell movie, it would be a blast to throw my hat in the ring again.

  • 5 H 25 – An antagonist in a mystery game

By the way, I don’t doubt that there will be a Heavy Rain 2 sometime in the future.

To voice act in a game would be so interesting to try out, especially if it would be for an antagonist. My bro and I had played with the idea of making a game with Plustard and Johnny, but the works and effort took away too much of your time. Hopefully one day however I will have the chance to voice a character in a game.

  • 4 P4 – A character for the show My Little Pony

The show is awesome, the characters are cool and the episodes are well written. Plus, it taps into the childish spirit that dwells inside everyone who likes the show.

When you think about it, it isn’t that hard to do. It’s only voice acting. But even so, I consider it one of the nicest shows out there and I would love to play a part.

  • 3 T3 – The Spook from The Spook’s Apprentice

The book was an awesome read and had a wonderful set of locations, characters and designs. I swear that if I get the money for it, I would sooo make a movie adaptation! I said it here first so don’t go and ruin my dream. :p

The spook seemed almost all-knowing. Always with something on his mind and never unprepared, the Spook was a brilliant character that made you feel like you were sitting next to a giant. What made him stand out was his familiarity with the darker side of the world and with the realm of spirits.

  • 2 S2 – Sherlock Holmes

It is elementary for me to want to play this role. The mind games that Sherlock and Moriarty play are phenomenal. The dynamic between the detective and John is funny to watch, especially since my bro and I have a similar way of interacting.

Getting back to the role: Sherlock is a brilliant detective with a personality so cold, distant, clever and brave you can’t help but like him. I hope one day to try and follow in the footsteps of Benedict Cumberbatch. Who knows, maybe one day…

  • 1 D1 – The Doctor

It’s a time traveling, two heart beating, sonic waving mad man in a box!

Yes, I know I played the Eleventh Doctor in our fan film “Doctor Who – How to stop a Time Lord” but I would love the real thing, the big role itself. I want to set foot inside the TARDIS, put on my coat and hit that lever. That would be the role of a lifetime and I would not squander that honor. I would give it my all and even more just to feel that thrill, that joy and burden of being the Doctor.

Well, that’s all for now. Hope you have an awesome day. 🙂
