As I said the other day on Facebook, I think it looks quite good. It is not so perfect that you can’t tell it’s a daylight shot, but it is very professional-looking and is head and shoulders above a lot of shots done under similar conditions by Hollywood studios…at least up until the 90s or so. Current pro techniques are better, but you really can’t compare a multimillion film with an indie.

It’s way too dark and the red and green channels are almost non existent. Don’t try to fake night time by blowing up the blue channel, be more subtle with your levels.

It’s a little too blue but it’s fine if you can’t find any alternative.

Actually, I lied, it’s not too dark for the monitor I’m using now. But it is too dark for another one I use sometimes. Dark scenes are good for anything that is mostly audible, but you have to give up on most visual effects.

I like the shot. Yeah, it’s rather blue but it is supposed to be night, right? So dark and blue gives it a special feeling. Don’t know what you’re going for but I ilke it. And if it fits the mood… That will have to be seen in the Episode itself.
